Volunteering For A Medical Research Study

When considering volunteering for a research study, it is important to make an educated decision.
What are the benefits of joining a study? Volunteers in research studies participate in the development of medical therapies that may offer better treatments and even cures for life threatening and chronic diseases. Possible benefits for volunteers-

  • Play an active role in their health care.
  • Gain access to research treatments before they are widely available.
  • Obtain medical care at health care facilities during the trial.
  • Help others by contributing to medical research.

Research participants undergo careful evaluation by study physicians and are closely followed by the medical staff.

All our enrolling studies have been conducted on humans and are safe before potential research participants become involved. There is never a charge to the participant or insurance as the cost of medical research is paid for by the pharmaceutical company that sponsors the research program.
